The Electricity at Work Regulations place a legal responsibility on employers, employees and self-employed persons to comply with the provisions of the regulations and take reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no danger results from the use of such equipment.

What’s Involved in PAT Testing
A qualified PAT Testing specialist will be able to perform tests and checks on a variety of appliances using PAT testers that will be able to show if the appliance has passed or failed testing including:
- earth continuity
- lead polarity
- insulation resistance
A Certificate is then issued listing each appliance with a pass or fail.
